I love how varied your music is. They keep taking me off in directions I don't expect. The swung guitars are a ton of fun. You are right about it feeling like retro jazz. It has a very twenties feel to it. Love the harmonies, as always.
I like how you solo briefly in interludes rather than taking a whole pass that became more common in the 50's and 60's jazz standards. It's very tasteful. That of course excepts the intro and outro.
I wish I could remember the singer's name who performed with Django Reinhardt that I have on a discontinued CD. But your male singer at about the 2:20 mark sounds a hell of a lot like him. Love it.
The Holy Modal Rounders said once that they tried to recreate old timey folk tunes down to the scratches on the records. This is a damn close recreation of that 20's jazz style.

Maaaan... that's some breezy jazz!
Once again, you've managed to amaze me with your versatility... and of course the production's just right; tasteful, restrained, and sturdy... again!

Oh man, that's pretty. Love the groove--at times very Le Jazz Hot at times kind of Bob Wills--at all times very warm and smooth. Your solo's are beautiful.

This is like being in a very comfortable armchair with a well-mixed Martini!! (Olive an'all) There seems to be two distinctive styles mixed here. It started as a sort of trad jazz but now it's going sort of fun retro 30's piece. I feel I'm listening to a 78 from a big-horned gramophone! The finger-snap is great. This is truly the definition of "Cool" It reminds me of an artist - I can't think who. That's not very helpful is it? But the voice is great and I love the crackle.

I agree with soudseeker.. you've managed such a great feel.. I love the vocals.. It rolls along so smoothly. Nice bluesy feel in there.
Clever chords and soloing as always
Foxy's just making comments her side of the room and I'm don't know what she's saying but her heads nodding away...
Great atmosphere and very clever song...

This is Fantastic, love the essense of nostalga, the added "crackle" and mix of modern/1930's radio broadcast vox is genius! can you get the same overall effect live as well?
Great tune

This is awsome!!! The old jazz station is one of the six in my car. Oh you got the style perfect! Great song, it moves, this would be good on any instrument or even with distortion. Good songs can go anywhere they want.

took my breath away. ...Love the lyrics... sure made me smile!
Everything about this IS to be loved!
the guitar, the vocals...( OMG! THE VOCALS! ...just like Stephen Stills and Neil Young all wrapped up into one voice! ) and even the snap-crackle-pop sound of the old vinyl record. This is excellent work!

Ooh, old movies, impromtu dancing in the living room with the rug rolled up, a drive through town to show off the new car. This is so mellow I can feel my whole body relax.
Nice!

Very, very cool indeed! I like how you took me back to the days of the 78 with the pops and cracks of vinyl. HiFi- Lofi coolness! Yep 20’s-30’s feel to this mostly. Love the guitar! The vocals are fantastically fitting to the progression and hey, what’s a song with this kind of feel with out the finger snaps? I dig!!!!

This song makes me smile! Yup, I'm grinning like a fool, trying to find the words to say how much I this. It's so unexpected and wonderful! This is my favorite kind of jazz -- kinda bluesy and makes me feel like I'm in a happier, simpler world. Fantastic playing! Full speed ahead to the playlist!!

I love the stess-and-release at about 1:10... VERY jazz.
I feel like I'm in a coffee shop!
Almost has an island influence...
I think you could make the feel complete if you added tape fuzz, or record imperfections....
This is a cool, but different style of jazz...

I was hooked from the first couple swings. Then when the vocals came in, I was floored.
I love the second progression!
Those harmonies are pristine.
AWW, that lead vocal is so cool!
Great rhythm guitar layering around 2:10
Beautiful old-fashioned style in this
THe harmonics at 2:32 are a wonderful touch!

Vocals are awesome, almost like they come from a different genre and some great guitar playing.

I’m really digging this one guys....... The Bob Wills analogy is appropriate, I also hear a little Lyle Lovett. This is very nice - the lack of hi-fidelity only adds to its charm - so much so in fact that when I initially heard it I doubted it wasn't an older recording.
Vocally the singers are very good.... nice smooth timbre, diction and pitch are right on. All of the musicianship is also very nice. However.... I really would like to hear a cleaner production of this.
Very Kewl Tune..... Good Job

Yeah, yeah! A real jazz lounge hit, but with a lot more cheer (and generally better lyrics) than the usual tune in this style. You nailed it. I like the way the snaps get their own little space in my left ear. It's like my barmate's wakened himself from his drunken stupor to join in on the wonderful music that's filling our smokey lounge.
